Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 02 January 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Safe Drop website, account, physical products (including stickers), and subscription services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Safe Drop is operated by a UK-based sole trader (“we”, “us”, “our”). For contact details, see Section 15.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- The Service is intended for individuals, property owners, tenants, or landlords who have authority over the delivery location.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
3. What Safe Drop is (and is not)
Safe Drop provides tools that allow you to create and display delivery instructions for your property.
Safe Drop does not provide delivery services and does not control couriers, delivery drivers, retailers, or any third parties.
3.1 No guarantees
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee:
- that delivery instructions will be followed;
- that deliveries will be successful;
- that parcels will not be lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged.
3.2 Not a security service
Safe Drop is not a security or theft-prevention service. It is a guidance tool only. You are solely responsible for assessing whether any delivery location is safe or appropriate.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy, clarity, and suitability of any delivery instructions or content you provide.
- You must not provide instructions that are unsafe, unlawful, misleading, or that encourage unauthorised access to property.
- You confirm that you have the right to provide delivery instructions for the property, including any necessary permissions from landlords, property managers, or other occupants.
- You are responsible for deciding whether the Service is appropriate for your circumstances.
5. User content
The Service may allow you to submit content such as delivery instructions, location descriptions, and images (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.
5.1 Licence to use content
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Service.
5.2 Prohibited content
You must not submit content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or misleading;
- infringes the rights of others (including privacy or intellectual property rights);
- contains malware or attempts to compromise the Service.
5.3 Personal data
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed as described there.
5.4 Data retention
Delivery-related records (including delivery status and associated information) may be automatically deleted after 60 days from the date they are marked as delivered. This helps us minimise data storage and maintain system performance.
You are responsible for retaining any information you wish to keep before this period expires.
6. Sticker and physical product use
Any Safe Drop sticker or physical product provided to you becomes your property upon delivery, subject to the restrictions below.
6.1 Restrictions
- You must not resell or commercially exploit the product without our written permission;
- You must not alter or modify it in a way that misrepresents Safe Drop;
- You must not use it to impersonate or mislead (including pretending to represent a courier or official authority);
- You must not use it for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
6.2 Installation and removal
Safe Drop products may use adhesive materials designed to provide secure attachment. By using the product, you accept that:
- application may affect certain surfaces depending on material, paint, finish, or environmental conditions;
- removal may leave residue or cause damage, including surface marks, paint removal, or other cosmetic changes;
- you are responsible for assessing the suitability of the surface before application.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage, residue, or surface alteration resulting from the application or removal of Safe Drop products.

Refunds are not provided except where required by UK law. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact support.
7.5 Consumer cancellation rights
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.
If you request that the Service begins during this period (including starting a trial), you acknowledge that:
- you may lose your right to cancel once the Service has been fully performed; and
- a proportionate amount may be deducted for services already provided.
7.6 Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or suspend access to the Service until payment is successfully completed.
7.7 Pricing changes
We may update pricing from time to time, including at the beginning of a calendar year.
Where required by law, or where changes affect existing subscriptions, we will provide reasonable notice before such changes take effect.
Updated pricing will apply to new subscriptions immediately and to renewals after the effective date of the change.
7.8 Contact during trial
By starting a trial or subscribing to the Service, you agree that we may contact you via email (and, where provided, other contact methods) in relation to your use of the Service. This may include onboarding support, service updates, and requests for feedback to help improve the Service.
You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time using the unsubscribe option in the dashboard or by contacting support.
7.9 Service communications
You acknowledge that certain communications relating to your account, subscription, or use of the Service are necessary for the operation of the Service and cannot be opted out of.
8. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have:
- breached these Terms;
- engaged in fraud or misuse of the Service;
- submitted false or misleading information;
- used the Service in a way that may cause harm to others or to the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
9. Service availability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we are not responsible for the actions of third parties, including couriers, delivery drivers, retailers, neighbours, or other individuals;
- we are not liable for lost, stolen, damaged, or misdelivered parcels;
- we are not responsible for how delivery instructions are interpreted or followed;
- we are not responsible for access to your property resulting from your instructions;
- we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial losses.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt unauthorised access to the Service;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service;
- use the Service for illegal or unsafe activities.
12. Intellectual property
All Safe Drop branding, content, and intellectual property (excluding User Content) belong to us or our licensors. You may not use them without permission.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Privacy and cookies
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, use, and store your information.
