These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Safe Drop website, account, and subscription service (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Safe Drop is operated by a UK sole trader (“we”, “us”, “our”). Contact details are provided in Section 14.

2. Eligibility
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • The Service is intended for individuals and landlords who control the property where delivery instructions are used.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
3. What Safe Drop is (and is not)

Safe Drop provides guidance tools that help you create and display delivery instructions for your property. Safe Drop does not provide delivery services and does not control couriers, drivers, retailers, or third parties.

3.1 No guarantees

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Safe Drop does not guarantee:

  • that delivery drivers or third parties will follow your instructions;
  • that parcels will not be lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged;
  • successful delivery outcomes.
4. Your responsibilities
  • You are responsible for the accuracy, clarity, and suitability of any instructions, location descriptions, or other content you submit.
  • You must not create or share instructions that are unsafe, illegal, misleading, or that encourage unlawful access or behaviour.
  • You are responsible for deciding whether Safe Drop is appropriate for your property and circumstances.
5. User content

The Service may allow you to input content such as delivery instructions, location descriptions, and possibly photos (e.g., proof of delivery). You retain ownership of your content.

5.1 Your permissions to us

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service.

5.2 Prohibited content

You must not upload or submit content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or misleading;
  • infringes another person’s rights (including privacy or intellectual property rights);
  • contains malware or attempts to compromise the Service.
6. Sticker usage

Any Safe Drop sticker you receive becomes your property once provided to you. However, you agree to the restrictions below.

6.1 Restrictions

You must not:

  • commercially resell the sticker or bundle it as part of a paid product/service without our written permission;
  • tamper with, alter, or modify the sticker in a way that misrepresents Safe Drop or creates confusion;
  • use the sticker or Service to misrepresent delivery instructions as coming from a third party (for example, pretending to be a courier company or official authority);
  • use the sticker or Service for fraud, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.
7. Payments, trial, and billing

The Service is offered as a subscription paid via Stripe.

7.1 Pricing
  • Trial: £1 for 30 days (full feature access during the trial period).
  • Ongoing subscription: £29.99 per year after the trial.
7.2 Auto-renewal

Unless you cancel before the end of the trial, your trial will automatically renew into a monthly subscription at £2.99/month, charged via Stripe using your selected payment method.

7.3 Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of that period.

7.4 Refunds

Refunds are not offered, except where required by UK consumer law. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact support.

7.5 Taxes and pricing changes

Prices are stated in GBP. We may change pricing in the future, but we will provide reasonable notice before changes apply to your subscription.

8. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account (with or without notice where appropriate) if we reasonably believe you have engaged in:

  • abuse or harassment;
  • fraud or attempted fraud;
  • misuse of the sticker or Service (including misrepresentation or prohibited commercial resale);
  • actions that risk harm to others, or harm the integrity or security of the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time and can request cancellation via your account settings. Users may rejoin later using the same email address (subject to any necessary security or compliance checks).

9. Service availability and “as is” basis

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

Subject to the paragraph above, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for losses caused by third parties (including couriers, drivers, retailers, neighbours, or other individuals);
  • we are not liable for loss, theft, damage, or non-delivery of parcels;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data.

Where permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, accounts, or systems;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service in a way that interferes with its normal operation;
  • use the Service to promote illegal activity or unsafe delivery practices.
12. Intellectual property

The Safe Drop name, branding, website content (excluding user content), and all related intellectual property rights belong to us or our licensors. You may not use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without written permission.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, via the website or by email). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. The courts of the UK will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service.
